Open Media Expands BOXPARK Into a Connected OOH Network
Open Media has announced a major expansion of its partnership with BOXPARK, adding all sites within the Croydon venue to its out-of-home portfolio.
The move makes Open Media the exclusive OOH media partner across the full BOXPARK estate, including Shoreditch, Croydon, Camden, BOXHALL, Wembley and Liverpool.
A Connected Cultural Media Network
BOXPARK venues are built around food, music, sport, pop-ups and live events, making them more than traditional retail or leisure destinations.
Through the expanded partnership, Open Media will manage media opportunities across digital screens, large-format internal and external banners, and experiential activations.
From Screens to Live Experiences
The BOXPARK network already includes internal D6 screens across BOXHALL, BOXPARK Camden and BOXPARK Shoreditch, alongside banner assets at Shoreditch and Wembley.
With Croydon now included, brands can create campaigns that move across multiple venues while staying close to moments people are already gathering around, from football screenings to music events and food-led experiences.
Midnite Shows the Potential
During the FIFA World Cup, Midnite became the first brand to use Open Media's cross-venue BOXPARK opportunity at scale.
The campaign transformed BOXPARK locations nationwide into a branded fan experience, creating strong visibility in some of the UK's most popular live football viewing environments.
The activation also generated social engagement as fan celebrations helped extend the campaign beyond the venues themselves.
Why the Partnership Matters
- It simplifies planning: Brands can access multiple BOXPARK venues through one media partner.
- It connects with real behaviour: The media appears where people eat, watch, celebrate and socialise.
- It supports cultural moments: Campaigns can align with sports, music, events and seasonal activations.
- It offers multiple formats: Digital screens, banners and experiential spaces can work together.
- It increases consistency: Multi-venue campaigns can deliver one brand idea across different cities and audiences.
The OOH Lesson
Venue-led OOH is powerful because it connects media with atmosphere.
People are not simply passing a screen. They are already inside a social environment, watching a match, meeting friends, eating, drinking or joining an event.
That gives advertisers a different type of attention: one shaped by mood, context and shared experience.
Bottom Line
Open Media's expanded BOXPARK partnership shows how OOH can move beyond individual placements and become a connected cultural network.
By combining high-footfall venues, digital screens, banners and experiential opportunities, the partnership gives brands a platform for campaigns built around participation, visibility and live moments.
With BOXPARK Croydon joining the portfolio, the network is now positioned as a flexible route for brands looking to appear where culture is already happening.
